LT-55 XL Laser Templator

Digital Laser Templating

LT-55 XL Laser Templator for digital templatingOur most recent product, the LT-55 XL Laser Templator was created to fill the void of templating cabinet bases and counter tops but we soon found that there were so many more uses that we had never thought about. We looked at all the other systems on the market and found problems with all of them so we sought out to develop a solution that gave the templators exactly what they needed. By working with industry leaders we were able to pinpoint the specific necessities that are needed to get even the most difficult job done.

We are very proud of every LT-55 XL Laser Templator that is out there helping to create gorgeous marble and granite counter tops. We have customers that have templated over 8000 counter tops since purchasing the LT-55 XL as well as companies that found one was not enough to keep up with their production and are now using 26 lasers on a full time basis. Whether you fabricate a couple kitchens a week or 25 a week, the LT-55 XL will give you the precision and speed needed to make every job perfect.

Now cost is always the first thing on everyone’s mind. Instead of how much does it cost, the questions you need to ask is how much does it cost to not use the LT-55 XL? We did a large survey of over 2500 fabricators throughout the U.S. and came to some very eye opening conclusions. Take for example a manual shop that does ten jobs per week and charge the national average of $3,500 per job. If that shop uses the standard Luan strips to make their templates, after 1 year that shop would save $52,606 by simply embracing digital laser templating technology and using the LT-55 XL Laser Templator. What does that equal out in the 5-year and 10-year outlook? 5-year savings is $318,430 and 10-year savings comes to $650,710. If you want to check your own company’s savings you can download this Excel spreadsheet and fill in your numbers to see who much you can save.

Description

Digital Laser Templating

The LT-55 XL Laser Templator is now comes standard with an ASUS’ EeePC making digital templating a job easier than it has ever been before. With a 9” screen and full keyboard, you basically have a mini laptop with you on the job running Windows. Couple this with your job tracking software and you can have a templator in the field make more decision as to how fast you can have the job fabricated and installed.

One reason we truly believe we are the best digital laser templating system is because we are always innovating. 95% of our software was designed and specifically asked for by companies that saw a need and asked. We take pride in being able to give the customers what they ask for. We enjoy talking to our customers and listening to their ideas and concerns to help us make informed decisions and a better product. Because we have a very active customer base, we are constantly working on new ideas and ways to make your job easier. We release new version of our digital laser templating software monthly to make sure you have the best tools available to you at all times. Not only does the software on your LT-55 XL templator update when it is connected to a Wi-Fi hot spot, but the second seat of software that you get to install on any computer at the office gets free updates as well.

Some points that make the LT-55 XL stand out over other digital laser templating systems include a built in digital camera for taking pictures of the job site, wireless internet capabilities and a physical keyboard. Tie those three things together and you have the ability to not only template a job, but estimate it, get the customer’s signature and email it back to the office from the job site. Think of how many more jobs you can template if you didn’t have to keep running back to the office to drop off your manual templates.

Countertops

Countertop Templating

countertop templating LT-55 XL, Laser Templator, Countertop templating, Counter Tops, templating, laser Do you remember when it would take you 1-2 hours to walk onto a job site and create a template for it? You would have to wait for the hot glue gun to warm up so that you could glue all your luan strips to fit that back wall that seemed to have more curves and angles than you thought were possible? How many times did you burn your finger on the hot glue gun or cut your finger instead of the luan? If this is a daily occurrence, why are you still templating like this?

The LT-55 XL Laser Templator was designed specifically to allow you to get into the countertop templating job site, do your countertop templating and move on to the next job as quickly and with as little frustration as possible. Our customers will complete an average 60 square foot job in about 15 minutes. That includes setup and break down time. Also, because you will be measuring with a laser, which is essentially light, there is no risk of hurting yourself.

Increase Your Productivity on the Job

Customers who use the LT-55 XL to template all their jobs notice a huge increase in productivity. They don’t need to worry about driving back to the fabrication shop between jobs to drop off a template they just finished because they can email the files to the office from the tablet PC that runs the laser. They also have the ability to schedule fabrication times and installation dates from within our program. Because our software runs on all Windows computers (2000, XP, Vista and 7) you can also run any other scheduling software you might be using in your business like Moraware.

Millwork

Millwork

Although the Laser Templator was originally designed specifically for the counter top industry, we found that there was a natural fit in the millwork and wood working industries. The LT-55 XL is perfect for the wood working industry. One man field measurement , fast, accurate and producing .dxf files on the spot on the high powered pocket PC with SD memory chip technology. Data can be checked on the site and sent directly back to the shop or saved on the SD memory chip.

The LT-55 XL Laser Templator sets a new standard in field measure and verification. Precisely measure wall dimensions and irregularities, obstacles, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, horizontally and vertically, totally eliminating the need for templates of any kind.

It is not a camera that creates “point clouds” that need to be interpreted and massaged before use. The LT-55 XL precisely records the points you select and creates .dxf files in real time so you can check them before leaving the site.
