Squaring
First dots at 90° can project 500+ feet indoors and 150+ feet outdoors, for alignment of foundations then batter boards for both level and square using the target.
Subcontractor inspection
Many big builders use the SL-24 to check the framing work for square, level, and flat to eliminate costly corrections before mechanicals are installed, or to check a foundation on a prefabricated house before it’s delivered.
Out-of-flat for decking
The target is hit across the deck then moved towards the laser. The dot or line should not vary in the target more than your allowable tolerance.
Saw cutting
Hang a translucent target, with a vertical line on it, in front of the saw and follow a perfectly straight or square line without covering the line with dust. Great for decorative concrete cuts, to simulate grout joints!
Inside lines at 90° and 45° for cabinet layouts, 45° walls, tile, sill plates, walls, and more.
