To correct this problem:

1. Open the .dxf file in the LT-55 XL software.
2. Click Color and change the color name by removing all invalid characters i.e. < > / \ ” : ? | , = `
3. Close the color menu.
4. Save the file.
5. Open the .dxf file in your CAD software.

Windows Vista Instructions:

1. Click on Start (Windows Logo).
2. Click on Control Panel.
3. Click on View in Classic View.
4. Double Click User Accounts.
5. Click on Turn User Account Control ON/OFF.
6. Uncheck the check box.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Restart Now.
9. After the computer restarts the software should run normally.

Windows 7 Instructions:

1. Click on Start (Windows Logo).
2. Click on Control Panel.
3. Search for “UAC” in the search bar at the top right corner of the Control Panel window.
4. You will be given the result of User Account Control (UAC) Settings
5. Drag the slider down to the bottom (Never Notify)
6. Click OK.
7. Click Restart Now.
8. After the computer restarts the software should run normally.

Solution:

1. Download the zipped file from the following address: http://www.pdfhacks.com/pdftk/pdftk-1.41.exe.zip
2. Once downloaded, double click on it and you will see a file named “pdftk.exe”
3. Extract, copy and paste or drag that file (which ever method you are comfortable with) into the LT-55 XL program folder located at C:\Program Files\Laser Products\LT-55XL\
4. Restart the program and you should be able to save as normal.

1. First make sure the Samsung/computer is connected to the internet.
2. Make sure the LT-55 XL software is closed.
3. Open up My Computer.
4. Go to the following directory C:\Program Files\Laser Products\LT-55XL.
5. Double click on AdvancedUpdate.exe.
6. Click Download All button.
7. Once downloaded, close AdvanceUpdate.exe program by hitting the X in the top right corner.
8. Open the LT-55 XL software and the error should be corrected.

1. Close out of the program by selecting File / Exit or using the X in the top right corner.
2. Restart the program up again and update.
3. If you still receive this error, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
4. Click on the Processes tab.
5. Find the process titled “LaserProducts.PrecsionLaserTemplator.exe”
6. Click on it so that it is highlighted blue and click End Process.
7. Click Yes to terminate (close) the process.
8. Restart the program and update.
