30+ Years of Excellence

LPI celebrates more than 30 years of innovative digital measuring solutions for companies in stone and various other industries. LPI has sold more than 9,000 digital laser templating systems and software throughout the world that have helped thousands of companies increase their productivity and bottom line.

1994 - Laser Products Industries founded

Founded by Dan Louis, Laser Products Industries set out with a single mission of making measuring easier and faster through laser technology.

1997 - SL-24 Laser Square

Laser Products Industries releases the first multi-functional laser line tool providing automatic square (90° or 45°) vertical lines and dots as well as a 120° level line.

1999 - GS-28 Saw Laser

Primarily designed for bridge saws and CNC equipment, the GS-28 provides a 110° red laser line on any surface to be cut.

2003 - FR-16 Framing Square

The “junior” version of the SL-24. Laser Products Industries released the FR-16 extends the size of a traditional framing square up to 100’ in both directions.

2004 - LT-55 Laser Templator

First model of the Laser Templator product line developed by Laser Products Industries. First laser measuring system in the countertop and cabinet fabrication industries. Discontinued in 2008.

2008 - LT-55 XL Laser Templator

Laser Products Industries updated the original LT-55 moving from a PocketPC to a tablet running Windows® XP. Discontinued in 2010.

2010 - LT-55 XLW Laser Templator

Updated model of the LT-55 XL and last model in the LT-55 product line featuring a wireless laser. Discontinued in 2016.

2012 - GS-40 Saw Laser

An updated model of the GS-28 Saw Laser that employs a green laser line that is visible in low-light environments.

2013 - LT-2D3D Laser Templator (4.0)

First model of LT-2D3D product line. An advancement over the LT-55 product line to now offer 3D measurement capture. Discontinued in 2016.

2015 - TemplatePro

CAD software that can capture and draw job sites in 3D.

2016 - LT-2D3D Laser Templator (4.1)

Updated and the current model of the LT-2D3D.

2018 - Company Rebranded

Rebranded to reflect long-term goal of expansion and diversification beyond laser measuring.

2021 - LPI Acquired by The Hulburt Group

The Hulburt Group acquired Laser Products Industries with a mission to provide continuous innovation and value to its customers.

2022 - LT3Raptor

Innovative new software platform designed to improve all aspects of the fabrication process. 2023 StonExpo Best Technology Award.

2024 - LPI Cloud

A cloud-based management hub on the LT3Raptor platform to manage all jobs, edge styles, drop-ins, user permissions, workflows, and more.

2024 - StoneTag

Designed to optimize workflow, StoneTag empowers you to track and label every component of your job, ensuring a seamless journey from fabrication to installation.

2025 - 5 x LPI

The 5 x LPI is designed to revolutionize your digital templating workflow with the power of wireless connectivity and pinpoint accuracy, no matter where the job takes you.
