DWG Error “Acdbmgd”

Issue:

When saving a file, you are presented with the following error:

Exception Message : Could not load file or assembly ‘Acdbmgd, Version=18.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’ or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Cause:

The software is running on a 64-bit version of Windows and does not have the correct assembly installed on it. This is caused when you are trying to save a DWG file from the LT-55 XL software.

Solution:

1. Ensure the LT-55 XL software is closed.
2. Navigate to the program directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Laser Products\Laser Templator)
3. Run AdvancedUpdate.exe
4. Click Download next to AutoCad.zip
5. Extract the AutoCAD.zip files into the program directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Laser Products\Laser Templator)
6. Open the LT-55 XL software and attempt to save a job.
